Imani Gandy is the founder of both POWR-PAC and the Team Uterati Wiki Project. A graduate from the Philadelphia High School for Girls, she earned her B.A. from Oberlin College in 1996 and her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was a Hardy Cross Dillard Scholar and a member of the University of Virginia Law Review Editorial Board. She spent nearly a decade as a commercial litigator in Los Angeles, and has practiced in state and federal courts. She founded Angry Black Lady Chronicles in January 2009, and as of April 2012, her blog can be found at The Raw Story. In addition, she is a front-page blogger at Balloon Juice, and freelance writer at The Grio and RH Reality Check.
