Dr. E. Susan Barish passed her Board Certification and received her medical degree in Internal Medicine from the University of Guadalajara, Mexico in 1988. She completed three years of training in internal medicine at the Albert Einstein College Montefiore Medical Center, NY as well as a one-year fellowship training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, NY as a primary care provider.

Dr. Barish is a member of the American Medical Association and maintains a special interest in women’s health issues, with a focus on post-menopausal hormone therapies. She is fluent in Spanish and Greek.

With over 17 years of experience, Dr. Barish holds valuable ties to the community via lectures and radio interview. In addition, Dr. Barish is a certified physician in smoking cessation which she earned from the National Cancer Institute in 1991.
