Gerald (Gerry) E. Kobelski is a senior executive with 20 years of direct management experience at leading edge companies and start-up firms. His background includes extensive corporate management, operations and program management experience. His specific IT expertise includes internal and external networking, Internet web hosting, consulting, network deployment and operations. Mr. Kobelski has a record of proven success in managing client relationships of Fortune 500 accounts, including Sonus Networks, Cable and Wireless/Digital Island, GTE/Bolt Beranek and Neuman (BBN).
Mr. Kobelski retired as a Lt. Colonel from the Air Force as an Acquisition Director/Program Manager, where he planned, selected and directed contractors implementations on $350 million ground and airborne radio telecommunications development program, directed the $60 million communications and airframe development test program for the National Emergency Airborne Command Center (the prototype for Air Force One), and led a multi-contractor task force in implementing a $100 million missile tracking radar and telecommunications stations on South Pacific Islands.
Mr. Kobelski holds an MBA from Western New England College, Springfield, MA; an MS in Systems Management (Aerospace Operations) from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA, and a BA in Chemistry from Saint Anselm College, Manchester, NH. He joined the ASSIST-U.S.® team in 2010 to lead the company through its start-up and growth stages.
