Michael Costa, A.P., is a board certified Acupuncture Physician and is licensed in both Florida and California. He has been practicing in the natural health field since 2001.

Michael completed a Functional Medicine mentorship with Dr. Dan Kalish. Functional Medicine uses highly specific lab tests to create individualized nutrition and/or supplement programs in combinations with simple lifestyle changes. This approach has helped thousands of people reclaim their health and achieve optimum wellness.

He graduated with Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California and Masters in Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine. Michael is also a certified Shiatsu Specialist and Shiatsu Instructor and he is student of the internal healing arts of meditation, Chi Gong and Tai Chi since 1997.

Michael was on staff as a Licensed Acupuncturist at Passages Malibu Addiction Cure Center for over five years before opening Costa Acupuncture in West Los Angeles. He is currently the Director of Pinecrest Acupuncture in Miami, Fl.
