The indoor environment has always been a passion of mine and this passion has driven me throughout my entire academic and professional career. From my collegiate years studying environmental microbiology and toxicology to the present day working in environmental consulting, my passion has molded who I am.

During my career as vice-president of a national accredited environmental consulting laboratory, I became acutely aware of the lack of indoor environmental quality consulting services available to the public with relation to indoor environmental issues. On a consistent basis I would receive calls from people describing their frustrations trying to get the professional services they so badly needed. Lack of information, poor direction and overall poor customer service were the common complaints.

Other trends that were apparent included qualified consulting firms being too expensive, cheaper consulting firms lacking experience, understanding and providing poor information. Additionally, a full service national environmental company that offered multiple indoor environmental consulting services was clearly needed.

From this, AirMD, a scientific and engineering consulting firm was born to provide diverse, affordable, comprehensive environmental consulting services nationally based on scientific knowledge and experience supported by stellar customer service.

AirMD began in south Florida and has expanded to over 15 states through 2015; national coverage will be completed during 2016. We serve residential and commercial sectors and offer our services to a wide variety of industries. Our mission is to become the primary source for indoor environmental consulting services throughout North America and the primary repository for information related to indoor environmental issues to the public.

We are well on our way to completing our mission and consistently provide services to thousands of clients annually ranging from individual homeowners to Fortune 500 companies.
