Steve Cabeza’s personal and professional backgrounds are as diverse as his talents for marketing and helping his clients succeed. Known for big ideas and a knack for creating meaningful messages that amplify brands, it was a no-brainer for Steve to start Amplification Inc. and put his gifts to use everyday.

Born in Maryland and raised in Miami, Steve’s parents helped nurture his creative side from a young age. His father, a CIA operative, taught him the value of properly positioning a message—a skill he uses daily at Amplification Inc. After leaving home, Steve’s education in criminal justice and sociology took him from the U.S. Navy and Universidad de las Americas to Miami Dade Community College, Florida International University, and the University of Georgia.

His work experience is no less varied, with his career path including companies and organizations like True North Custom Publishing, University of Miami Hospital, Golnick Advertising, and even the U.S. Department of Defense. While working for Plantation General Hospital, Steve was chosen from 300 of his peers to lead a communications advisory team that improved the direction of national initiatives for a network of over 300 healthcare facilities throughout the U.S.

Marnie S. Hoppe, Steve's former business partner, says that Steve brings a wealth of marketing knowledge and the most up-to- date and informed strategies to help clients better market their businesses. In fact, she says that his commitment to clients and crafty approaches to problem-solving are the heart of the company’s success.

Digital marketing director Genie O’Loughlin describes him as a “marketing and performance driven powerhouse” and says he’s adept at understanding the big picture while achieving fast results for clients and creating emotional connections with their target audiences.

Steve loves the challenge of learning about his clients’ companies, including their business models and their industries. A dedicated student of his craft, he combines that inside knowledge with constant research into the ever-evolving digital landscape to identify the best ways to leverage modern marketing techniques for his clients.

Founding Amplification Inc. during a downturned economy was an enormous challenge, and Steve considers the company’s success—especially its reputation and recognized expertise in the video marketing space—to be his greatest professional accomplishment.
