Attiyya Atkins enjoys bringing out the best in people. As the owner of A+ Editing & Content Creation, a full-service ghostwriting and editing agency, she gets to do just that. Her company helps people of all levels of expertise, from undergraduate students to directors and CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, communicate through written word. Attiyya’s company has helped thousands of clients realize their ambitions through manuscript editing and self-publishing, resumes, blogs, press releases, white papers, academic editing, marketing, and social media strategy. She has worked with clients from JetBlue, Duetsch Bank, Major League Baseball (MLB), small business owners, and best-selling authors, including BookBaby’s 2018 Reader’s Favorite, Sophia King for her book “Poetically Unapologetic.” A+ Editing & Content Creation is also the publisher of Villij News, a South Florida newspaper focused on Black news.

Attiyya graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor's in journalism and a minor in African studies. Her work as a journalist and freelance writer for publications like Slate, Huffington Post, The Crime Report, South Florida Sun-Sentinel, and more, taught her the importance of and need for high-quality written content. This was only an extension of lessons taught to her by her Caribbean parents. Their focus on education and clear, concise, thoughtful writing have stuck with her to this day. She uses the knowledge instilled in her by her parents and her journalistic eye for a story to help her clients achieve their goals.

Attiyya also has a non-profit, Up Movement, which focuses on healing and empowering people through civic education and participation. When she’s not working, she loves introspective moments at the beach, going on adventures with her husband and kids, traveling, and a good plate of food.
