Bruce is a Retired US Army Major and has been a Federal Government GG15. He collectively has over 27 years of Military, Federal Government and defense Contracting experience. He has deployed and worked in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Japan, Germany and Panama. Bruce has written hundreds of Government position descriptions, vacancy announcements and led interview panels as the Hiring Manager/Selecting Official. Similarly, he has reviewed thousands of defense contractor resumes against multiple defense contract statements of work. Having conducted Classified and Sensitive work around the world, Bruce understands the sensitivity of operational work and how best to translate it into a powerful resume. Bruce is currently a Certified Resume Writer through the Professional Association of Resume Writers (PARW), a member of the National Resume Writers Association (NRWA) and Career Directors International (CDI). Bruce was a Military Transition Employment Advisor for The Value of a Veteran for 2013 and 2014, provided Resume Writing Seminars at the Washington, DC AUSA Exposition for The Amercian Freedom Foundation's Warriors to the Workforce and is the 2015 exclusive Resume Advisor for TECHEXPO Hiring Events.
