Erin Martin is the “real” woman - savvy businesswoman, freelancer, radio maven, fabulous mommy and good girlfriend. As founder, producer, and host of Bag Ladies “Reality” Radio, Erin pulls from her own personal experiences and hits the Internet airwaves live each week to lend a voice to issues that affect real women everywhere and topics of which all women can relate. Being fresh and hip and with appealing style, Erin connects real women with real issues, allowing them to talk in an open environment, just as they would with their best girl friends. Erin is completely transparent and candid and allows herself to be completely vulnerable which resonates with the Bag Ladies Radio audience. As Erin says, “I leave my heart on the airwaves.”
Born in San Diego, CA and raised in Prince George’s County, MD, Erin attended Morgan State University and the University of Maryland University College, which prepared her for her corporate role as a Project Manager. In 2008, Erin realized that she wanted to do more than her executive position provided and decided to leave Corporate America to create a conversational platform for women to grow, share, and “dish.”
Based on life, living, and being a woman, Bag Ladies Radio is now one of the fastest-growing reality talk show programs in online radio. Topics span a wide spectrum of issues targeting women including the life of a single mother, and more, totally encompassing a woman’s lifestyle. Erin’s most popular segment is “Beauty Talk”, which covers industry trends, products and techniques. Featured guests enjoy the convenience of participating live from the comfort of their own home. “I’m always excited to inform guest prospects that they don’t have to jump through hoops,” says Erin. “They don’t have to be on their best behavior.
