Christine has over 13 years experience in integrated marketing communications for business to business and higher education clients and is also considered an expert on the subject of women’s basketball. She has served as senior communications officer and company spokesperson and is adept at creating integrated communications programs that synch both traditional and non-traditional marketing with public relations efforts.

She is the founder of Walk4Good, Inc., a non-profit organization whose primary mission is to inspire and empower people to practice kindness and to pass acts of kindness onto others.

She is the author of Why She Plays: The World of Women's Basketball (University of Nebraska Press 2008) and regularly lectures on the subjects on Title IX and women's sports participation.

Christine received a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Wesleyan University. Her thesis project, based on women's basketball, was awarded the University's prestigious Rulewater Prize.

She has over 80 bylined articles to her name including: Got Game Magazine, Full Court Press Online (www.fullcourt.com). Confluence, Beginnings Literary Magazine, Survivor's Review, The Tipton Poetry Journal, Thysia Literary Magazine, and others.

Christine is a member of the Author's Guild, Rockland Business Women's Network and Women's Sports Foundation. Christine was named one of the Hudson Valley's PROUD Women of the Year in 2008. She was named one of Rockland County's Forty Under 40 and was a finalist for a Billie Award in Journalism from the Women’s Sports Foundation in 2009. She was also a finalist for the 2011 Sundance Screenwriters Institute, and will be inducted into the Middletown CT Sports Hall of Fame in January of 2011.
