Jacquelyn Miccolis
Jacquelyn Miccolis is the Founder and Executive Director of the Creative Community Impact Association (CCIA), a federally incorporated nonprofit launching nationally in September 2025. CCIA empowers artists, cultural workers, educators, and mission-driven creatives to harness creativity as a catalyst for connection, collective leadership, and lasting social impact.

With over a decade of experience leading equity-centered initiatives in the arts and community sectors, Jacquelyn combines strategic leadership with hands-on experience to create inclusive, accessible spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued. Her professional journey began in marketing and sales and evolved into launching ventures such as Sparkles n’ Sawdust Studio, an award-winning Halifax arts space supporting artists with disabilities and underrepresented creatives, and Supernova Events, a social enterprise offering workshops, an annual creative showcase, conferences, talks, and consulting to foster inclusion and collaboration.

These experiences continue to shape how she develops scalable solutions at the intersection of creativity, community, and social change. Jacquelyn also served on the board of Nocturne: Art at Night, leading accessibility and inclusion initiatives to create welcoming public art experiences.

She is the author of Unfiltered Wisdom: A How-To Guide for Creative Entrepreneurs, providing practical guidance for artists and creators building sustainable, accessible careers. Jacquelyn holds diplomas in Office Administration and Community Development and studied Psychology at Mount Saint Vincent University, where she received an entrance scholarship. Specialized training in inclusive facilitation and accessible design further informs her leadership approach.

A multidisciplinary artist who is proud of her Italian heritage, Jacquelyn brings heart, integrity, and approachability to every project, driven by a deep commitment to building inclusive, connected communities and advancing social impact through the arts.
