Philip Antonson co-founded Catalyst Research Group with business partner, John Wehland in order to develop and distribute effective trading tools and strategies for both individual and institutional traders.

Starting with a humble beginning in the realm of trading, Philip picked up an interest in equity markets at a young age. His fascination with the charts quickly enveloped his time as he continued studying what effected the market and how it could be exploited to make money. Because of his general analytical and scientific frame of mind, he ultimately landed on technical trading as his main method of market prediction and after years of paper and live trading, he was able to develop systems and practices to his trading methodology.

Years after trading on a discretionary, technical bias he was introduced to automated trading where trading rules, which are commonly found in technical trading, could be coded into a computer program which would trade without human intervention.

The systems developed by Philip and his partner, John Wehland, were able to see stellar performance and at that point they decided to start Catalyst Research Group, a company dedicated to offering effective and profitable automated trading solutions to everyone.
