Phil Ainley is a multiple award-winning graphic designer, web developer and marketer who has gained 9 years of freelancing experience during his career.

Phil has been working full-time in the creative industry since graduating from University in 1996 and has been a senior designer in an award-winning marketing agency, a digital manager in the same agency and a creative director before working as a freelance designer and marketer between 2008 and 2017.

Phil has helped businesses from the following sectors improve their digital presence and their top-line through marketing, including: insurance, technology, printing, construction, health & well-being, sports therapy, pet care, finance, legal and more.

Phil’s experience extends to both agency-side and client-side marketing activities, which puts him in a that rare position of knowing the needs of both parties.
He has 10+ years front-line marketing experience working on ATL, BTL and TTL campaigns, and is a highly motivated and sociable individual with creative flair and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Phil is proficient with both offline and online marketing techniques including PPC campaigns and social media advertising as well as traditional advertising campaigns for magazines and billboards.

Phil’s experience has seen him gain full membership of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. As part of his membership he is committed to the Chartered CPD Pathway towards Chartered Marketer status. Full membership is granted via qualification (Cert CIM and/or Dip CIM) and 10+ years of experience in frontline marketing roles, for which evidence has to be submitted for approval.
