 Ian Abercrombie has been providing consulting expertise to the service desk industry since 1992. Having specialised exclusively in Service Desk Express from BMC, he has now added Supportworks from Hornbill to his portfolio.  
Ian Abercrombie moved from software and hardware development into the world of service desk consulting in 1992 with DP Umbrella from Vycor. He was instrumental in developing the product and the market in the early days of the corporate help desk and was successful in aiding many small to medium sized customer in developing processes and procedures to manage service and support operations.
As the market developed Ian continued to pioneer the evolution of the help desk into the service desk of today with innovative software and techniques based around the product suite developed by McAfee and subsequently BMC.
With customers spanning all vertical markets across North America and into Europe with support operations varying from 5 to 5000 personnel Ian can offer and unmatched depth of knowledge and experience in the Service Desk arena.
