Keba Riley is the owner and lead buyer for Cherry Blossom Bridal, a full service bridal salon in Washington, DC specializing in brides sizes 12-32.
Keba Riley is a CPA turned attorney turned fashionista! After almost 9 years as an associate at one of the U.S.’s largest law firms, Keba succumbed to chronic back pain, requiring her to take time off in 2012. While accepting the realization that her days of billing 12-20 hours a day was over and wondering what was next for her life, Keba reflected back to her own experience shopping for her wedding dress in 2010 and the many conversations she has had with other plus-size women over the years about their collective shopping woes. Finally, she realized that by opening a bridal salon catering to plus-size women like herself, she could address a real need and be of service to a population which is largely ignored by most bridal salons.

Keba received her B.A in accounting from University of Maryland College Park in 1996 and her J.D., magna cum laude from Howard University School of Law in 2002. During her tenure at Howard Law, she served as Editor-In-Chief of the Howard Law Journal. Before attending law school, she worked as a financial statement auditor with Ernst & Young LLP. Keba is a member of the Bar in the States of Maryland and New York, as well as the District of Columbia and was a Certified Public Accountant in Maryland from 1997 – 2002 (now in inactive status in Maryland). Keba is the mother of an active 3 year old son and lives in Bowie, MD.
