Daniël studied Technical Computer Science at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. He is specialised in computer graphics and compiler design and has co-authored Free Pascal, one of the most advanced open source compilers. Daniël is also co-author of the Mach64 frame buffer device driver in the Linux kernel, which powers the Rage XL video chip inside most cluster nodes. At ClusterVision, Daniël is a presales consultant in the function of HPC Systems Architect, responsible for benchmarking and cluster design.
