As President of Generational Wealth Management, Charlie Donaldson works diligently to insure that all families can have confidence and certainty as they arrive at life's most important financial milestones, so they do not take unnecessary risk! Because of this passion, he created College Bound Coaching to help families who have children approaching college age to maximize their eligibility for financial aid. This entails understanding the financial aid formula and positioning appropriately. It entails choosing colleges that actually have money to offer (that’s right; some schools just don’t have money to give). The 3rd piece of the puzzle is to put in place a solid saving and spending plan, detailing how families will pay for any out of pocket costs without sacrificing other financial goals.

Charlie believes that the only way to run a successful business is to have satisfied clients. College Bound Coaching and Charlie Donaldson are members of and have partnered with the College Planning Network (CPN). CPN is the nation’s largest and most reputable college admissions and financial aid planning firm. As a member of CPN, Charlie is one of only a few hundred trained College Funding Specialists in the United States and is a Certified Advisor of Strategic Educational Technologies. Charlie co-authored a book titled How to Give Your Child a 4-Year College Education without Going Broke. He conducts free workshops every month to help families learn how to navigate the complex college admission and financial aid process.

Charlie has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, both earned from Wilmington University. He has worked in the Financial Services business since 2005, working with families of all income ranges.
