Stu Schmidt is a high‐tech veteran with broad cross‐functional executive experience. He is credited with developing sales, marketing and service methodologies for numerous companies, from start‐ups to the Fortune 50. As a recognized thought leader in Sales 2.0, he created and developed “The Selling Methodology” that has lead his teams to success and was the foundation for the well-regarded Webex sales process. Stu is now sharing that methodology with professional sales people everywhere.

Stu’s career spans 30 years in technology companies. He joined ConnectAndSell, the provider of advanced sales automation and productivity, as Chief Revenue Officer and became the President and CEO in 2013. He has reengineered the ConnectAndSell business model and go-to market strategy to create a high‐velocity revenue model, dramatically improving both the speed and throughput of the sales cycle. He is leading the ConnectAndSell team into a period of explosive growth and category domination.

As Vice President of Global Sales & Services at Unisfair, Stu lead his sales and services team to become the leading provider of virtual events, resulting in the successful acquisition of Unisfair by InterCall in March, 2011. Stu used The Selling Methodology at WebEx as the VP of Solution Sales to contribute to the company’s $3.2 billion acquisition by Cisco in 2007. As VP of Sales and then COO of OAO Technologies, he grew annual revenue to $150M in 3.5 years, and was instrumental in their successful IPO in late 1997. Stu spent his early years cutting his technology teeth at Digital Equipment followed by senior sales management roles at two large system integration companies.
