Born from an American father of German Descent and a Cuban mother, My family had to escape the tyranny of Fidel Castro. Living in exile for a short period in El Salvador. My family later settled in a small Island in the Caribbean in which my heart still lives . The Island of Enchantment Puerto Rico.

Followed the family tradition and went to military school. After attending 2 years of college at Loyola University in New Orleans LA. I returned to my island to continue my education at Sagrado Corazon University.

While In College I started working for a company called Nor-Dec. An Architectural Millwork Company that sold exotic woods from Brazil, And my life changed from that moment on. The owner Jesus Norniella became my mentor, Not only was he a great entrepreneur , but had a design style all his own. And to this day I consider the most hardworking man I have ever met.

I had the great opportunity not only to learn about exotic woods, I learned discipline, courage to go after what you want in life. To appreciate the beauty in art and design. I also got the opportunity to work on the construction and remodeling of the most prestigious hotels and residences in the Caribbean Islands, Such as:

At 20 years old I established my first company importing from Brazil , Chile and other south american countries and continue to service high end jobs all around the caribbean. I was lucky enough to work With the Actor Chuck Norris on his house on the Island of Anguilla.

After many years the Caribbean was struck with too many huricanes thus causing a recession in the economy of the Caribbean,

I then focused my career into Comercial contracting and work for 13 years building stores and restaurants in shopping centers all across Puerto Rico.

When i was Importing from South America, I traveled a great part of the time. Which by this time I missed greatly. On my yearly vacation trip to Brazil . I decided to import granite thus my incursion into the great world of stone. I instantly fell in love with the beauty of Granite & Marble, and fascinated on the whole fabrication process. From the extraction from the mountains to the fabrication of counter tops.

I enjoyed a great deal of success designing kitchens & working closely with owners , architects and contractors. Paying close attention to detail. And focusing on making my designs first of all functional and eclectic.

​In one of those twist of fate I ended up in Richmond helping my supplier from Brazil establish his Counter top Business. After 3 1/2 Years the Company well established it was time to strike out on my own.

I am fascinated by Cultures and languages , After exploring Central America, South America & The Caribbean. I am now in the Asian Stage of my life. exploring China and neighboring countries.

I speak English, Spanish , Portuguese and i am in the loosing proposition of learning Madarin. It is my goal to speak fluently at least 6 to 7 Languages before my time on this earth is over.

I have a passion for Art be it Paintings, Architecture, Furniture Design, Culinary Ect.
My favorite Artists are Kandinsky, Joan Miro, Picasso, Dali, Van Gough and Miles Vanderhough
