Daniela is an award-winning corporate & political communications strategist, campaign manager, registered lobbyist and Creative Director. A leading expert in public relations, with a long history advocating for the second-hand economy, she often consults and guest lectures on economic development as well as professional and brand development. She was nominated for the prestigious Order Of Ontario, in part for setting a new standard in the textile reclamation industry and for her commitment to public education. She designed and implemented the first municipal textile reclamation program in Ontario for York Region, and also co-sponsored the first textile waste audit in Canada.

Recently her interests have evolved to include representing sector participants in advancing Canada's place in the global advanced materials sector. She serves on the Board of Directors for several charities and research/industry collaboratives.
