Rossitza Ohridska-Olson is a renowned thought-leader in the cultural tourism industry and UNESCO assistance sector with over twenty years' experience leading comprehensive approaches to policymaking, market intelligence and establishing practical guidance for the cultural tourism industry.
Ms. Olson will lend her expertise in marketing and management of emerging destinations, UNESCO application and approval assistance, cultural policy development, territorial organization of tourism and cultural industry management to Develop Culture’s team of cultural professionals.
Olson has delivered keynote speeches at the VI and VII Congress and Fair of Cultural Tourism where she spoke on “Museums, Internet and Cultural Tourism” and “Communication of cultural heritage through tourism” and spoke at the VI and VII Congress and Fair of Cultural Tourism, the XXII Congress of the Economy of Tourism held in Ohrid, Macedonia and many others.
Educated in Bulgaria where she earned a Master of Science in Geography of Tourism, Ms. Olson, who speaks Bulgarian, English, French, Russian and Spanish, has lived and worked in the United States of America for the past twelve years.
