James Turner co-founded Digitaltide Solutions Inc. in 2004 with Robert Turner, translating the complexity of the government's paper-based, National Security and Sensitive information classification process to a digital environment and developing ways to improve the security of information without interfering with the enhanced productivity that today’s document creation software provides.

James has been programing since the 80's. He started with the family's Timex Sinclair 1000 and moved on to his family's first PC an 8088. He developed and interest in information security in 1997 and after many computers, operating systems, and programming languages he now has a U.S. Patent and 2 pending U.S. Patents in electronic information security. His long term interest in computers and programming, coupled with his second interest in information security has resulted in multiple ingenious software products that employ commonsense and a user perspective.
