Mr john Leslie founded Leslie and Associates 1990 as a successful tax and accounting practice serving over 5000 clients. He sold his practice in 2011 to be with his two kids with Down Syndrome and his wife with secondary progressive multiple sclerosis.

Mr Leslie developed a passion for his kids and other kids with Down Syndrome and realizing the tremendous challenges put upon by these loving families. In 2011 Mr. Leslie founded San Diego Down Syndrome and IKYDS to help these families.

IKYDS and San Diego Down Syndrome to date has grown to over 5000 members and given away over $15,000 of free goods and services as of 2013. This was achieved by collecting used books and similar items and reselling them on his own.

Mr Leslie has a background in retail, accounting and taxation which he intends to use as time permits to grow the organization and meed the needs of this community however and whenever he can.
