Dr. Alla Iospa MD is the founder and Medical Director of Dr. Iospa Psychiatry Consulting PC a practice which brings together Psychiatric, Psychological and Neuropsychological tools in the diagnosis and treatment of various mental health disorders. Dr. Iospa collaborates with cardiologists, neurologists, physiatrists, primary care physicians and therapists while treating her patients. She uses traditional, experimental, and holistic approaches to help her patients. Interdisciplinary and collaborative medical approach provides many advantages to our patients and caregivers.
Dr Iospa is specializing in the treatment of:Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) in Adults, Insomnia, Stress, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Mood Disorders, Issues Related to Aging and Retirement, Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), Depression, Memory Problems, Premenopausal Symptoms, including Premenopausal Memory Complaints.
Prior to opening her Private Practice she was an Associate Director of The Pearl I. Barlow Center for Memory Evaluation and Treatment at NYU Langone Medical Center, where she worked with a variety of patients with cognitive impairments, conducted consultation services on medical units, and was engaged in teaching students, and residents, as well as participated in research studies at NYU Langone.
Dr. Iospa completed her residency training at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and her fellowship at NYU Langone Medical Center, she focuses on the medication management in treatment of a broad range of psychiatric disorders, including mood disorders, treatment-resistant depression, anxiety disorders, cognitive impairments, panic attacks, adult attention deficit disorder (ADD), and peri-menopausal mood disorders in women.
