 Dr. Sourav Chatterjee is an applied economist experienced in analyzing firm behavior using quantitative and qualitative techniques. His specialties are industrial organization, economics of incentives, and applied econometrics.  
Dr. Sourav Chatterjee specializes in providing economic and statistical analyses for governmental organizations and corporations. For over a decade, he has advised clients in a wide-range of industries as an expert economist.

Based in Los Angeles, CA, most of his work focuses on providing analytical solutions for clients in the U.S. In addition, he has advised a number of corporations in India and Africa. He has prepared and submitted expert reports for a number of these clients in the U.S. and India.

He has over fifteen years of experience in conducting statistical and econometric analyses using statistical software, such as R, SAS, and STATA. He also has experience in analyzing data using programming language such as Python.

Prior to starting EconRA, he worked in a number of senior consulting positions in the U.S. and in India. He also has been a frequent speaker at a range of professional and business forums.

Dr. Chatterjee received his PhD in economics from the University of Florida and an M.A. in economics from Delhi School of Economics. He received a number of awards for academic excellence, including Walter Lanzillotti Dissertation Award, Madelyn M. Lockhart Award, Rafael Lusky Award, and Jadavpur University Gold Medal. His research has been cited in Florida Public Radio and United Press International.

He is a member of the American Economic Association.
