Shevaun McGlone is the creator and head of content for “Eve After Eden” (EAE), an online publication that profiles women who made conscious decisions to change the course of their lives. EAE is dedicated to sharing the lives of women’s lifetimes.

Mrs. McGlone created EAE during a once in a century pandemic when she faced personal and professional pressures. At the height of it all, she began to question the reality of the biblical character Eve and found no one who could definitively shed light on the first woman. So, she sought out to answer the question herself by interviewing four very different women and writing about them in four articles equally as varied as the women. When the series was done, she thought she was too but a surprising instant message from her mentor breathed fresh air into the series and EAE: Part II was launched one month later.

As the dual-hatted Creator and Head of Content for EAE, Mrs. McGlone writes under the pen name Jemi Lassiter and manages all aspects of the platform as well as its three social media pages.

Shevaun McGlone is a native of Washington, D.C. and a graduate of both North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University and Purdue University.
