Danny Haile – BIO

A veteran nail technician with more than 30 years in the nail business, Danny is also a fierce award-garnering nail competitor who holds many international titles in competition, including WIMBA World Champion, International Nail Champion, Midwest Champion and others.

Danny has won over 75 trophies representing 20 countries and multiple competitions. Danny retired from active competition in the middle of this last decade and since has been a judge of nail competitions all around the world. He also trains world-champion nail competitors.

Danny has done many step-by-step demonstrations and magazine interviews that have been posted online and written about in publications all around the globe. Danny has published articles in Scratch Magazine in the UK, NAILS and NailPro Magazines in the US, Unghie in Italy, and many, many other professional, beauty trade and consumer publications.

Danny’s passion is in product development. He was the co-founder of EZ Flow Nail Systems in 1986, and, after selling the business, had done research & development for several major manufacturers like OPI, Odessy, Young Nails, Entity, IBD and Super Nail.

A few years ago, wanting to fulfill his passion, Danny came back to the industry starting Hand & Nail Harmony in 2009. There, Danny has utilized the newest technology to re-develop acrylic product systems and redesigned gel systems to create the latest trend in salon nails: the Polish-On/Soak-Off Gel-Polish fusion.

Danny has learned so much from the nail professionals he’s educated over the last 25 years. Nail Harmony’s business is a culmination of all the lessons learned from thousands and thousands of nail artists around the planet.

Most recently, the specialized Soak Off Gel products, with their unique formulas that are simple to apply and remove quickly and easily are his specialty — and are all the rage.

The ready-to-use formulas require no mixing and cure with either LED or UV lamps.

Gelish, manufactured by Danny's firm, Hand & Nail Harmony (AKA “Harmony”), is the winner of the “Innovative Product of the Year Award.”
