Zachary Dulli currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of the National Council for Geographic Education (NCGE), the national association for geography educators in the United States.
In addition to his role at NCGE, Dulli is also the Treasurer of The Geography Education National Implementation Project (GENIP) a coordinating committee representing the four national geography organizations (Association of American Geographers; American Geographical Society; National Council for Geographic Education; and National Geographic Society) on projects and communications regarding geography education.
Zach is also the current Vice-Chair of the Trust for Insuring Educators, the second-largest consortium of educators in the U.S representing over 60 professional education associations.
Before his current roles, Dulli’s leadership experience includes serving as Board Member and Communications Director for the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Washington, DC (YNPNdc). Dulli’s work with YNPNdc included the development of a monthly Twitter conservation, produced live from the West Wing of the White House. Dulli was also proud to serve as an advisor, representing young professionals for President Obama's 2012 State of the Union address.
As a member of the Washington DC-based Nonprofit Roundtable, Dulli created and oversaw the Nonprofit Future Leaders Committee, a group of ‘Under 40’ nonprofit executives who come together to foster the development of future sector leaders.
Classically trained by the Moscow Art Theatre School at Harvard University, the Atlantic Theatre Company in New York, and as a full scholarship student at West Virginia University, Dulli spent several years working as a professional actor in Los Angeles. Zach has appeared in national commercials for companies such as AT&T, Taco Bell, and Hardees. As producer and co-founder of Pack the House Productions LLC, a New York-based theatrical production company, Dulli and his business partners produced, developed and invested in live theater productions including the Broadway production of Green Day’s 'American Idiot.'
Zach lives in the Washington DC suburbs with his wife, Stephanie and their three children, Max, Huck & Piper. In his free, Zach volunteers as a baseball and basketball coach.
