Entrepreneur and Leadership are key terms that describe Paul's varied past.
Paul's first business was the local yard man mowing lawns through high school.
After college, Paul started a home renovation business where he worked for local banks to renovate REO homes.
Paul then worked for his father renting out single family homes in the Atlanta market.
In the late 1990's, Paul took a job with Siemens and worked himself up to a Systems Architech, Senior Network Engineer. At Siemens, he served on a global team that designed the new global e-mail network.
In 2004, Paul's rental home burned. Going through the claim process was a great learning experience. In 2005, he left the IT world and bought an Allstate office. 18 months into the new business, the Allstate solution was found to be too narrow and the marketing direction was dictated vs. open to the entrepreneurial approach. Paul started positioning himself to start and independent insurance agency and in 2009 he started to make his move.
America Insurance Brokers was born and the business joined SIAA.
Today Paul works with businesses and families to meet their insurance needs.
