Chief Executive Officer of Lagomar Properties, Inc,, Wayne Bryan Sr., is an internationally recognized developer in multi-family, commercial, and resort projects within Central and South America. His dynamic and creative leadership sets the entrepreneurial spirit that is a hallmark of Lagomar Properties, Inc.

A serial entrepreneur, Bryan’s involvement with real estate started when he was looking for investment opportunities after early successes in the late 1990s Internet boom. He started a pioneering online advertising firm- 2AdvertiseOnline.com- and established a highly profitable niche in travel and internet advertising. The company had an EBITA of $2.7MM when it was sold in 2003.

Also in 2003 he founded Macro Doctor, innovative SaaS (Software as a Service) Internet/Cloud-based medical practice management software. In 2005, with former Cap Gemini consultant Peter McElhinney he founded CareEFT, a Web-based patient payment scheduling system that was successfully piloted with 65 hospitals. (There are two patents currently pending on the revolutionary ACH-based approach.) Both of the later companies are still owned Bryan.

During this period in 1998, he was also one of the early investors in Los Suenos Resort, a successful Costa Rica golf and marina resort. He was extensively involved in the overall construction; his personal estate, Casa Dome, is one of the signature anchors of the development. He also is involved in the ownership and leasing of single family home sites and condos. The original land investment of $2.5MM has resulted in over $1.3B of total real estate sales.

Looking for similar opportunities he identified Panama as potentially the next major, still-untapped tourist destination. In 2006 he began the process of developing the Hard Rock Hotel Panama.

A hands-on visionary, he has participated in every part of the development process while assembling a first rate team of experts with experience in international resort development. As chairman, Wayne has guided the firm through financial challenges during the economic downturn, while developing a compelling and distinctive destination resort plan. As the world economy begins to recover, Bryan has positioned the firm to take advantage of emerging opportunities with lean organization unencumbered by operational debt.
