Alexis Hughes is a Corporate Support Division Business Development Assistant for Harden, one of the Southeast’s leading insurance, risk management and employee benefits firms. In her role, Alexis supports business development systems, assures quality of internal and external communications and supports corporate marketing activities.

Prior to joining Harden in 2018, Alexis was a freelance Writer, carrying out a variety of assignments according to clients' needs, including search engine optimization, original content writing, editing, and blog articles. Prior to that, Alexis was a Writer and Editor for Community Bible Study in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she successfully managed multiple writing projects with strict deadlines and directed a team of writers working remotely.

Alexis is a graduate of Colorado College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English.

As an active member of the community, Alexis volunteers for the 4th Circuit as a Guardian ad Litem. Additionally, she donates her time to The Giving Closet Project, a local non-profit providing clothing and other essential items to children in need.
