Teri Blaschke has been at Hidden Valley RV Park in different capacities since 1985. With her husband, Mark, she has been the operator of Hidden Valley RV Park; a family owned and operated RV Park since 1973. Hidden Valley has taken on different roles over its past 40 years but it has always been and continues to be a place to return over and over again to escape the rigors of city living and immerse yourself in nature and the great outdoors. Teri is dedicated to continuing this legacy and providing a place for families to make memories and revisit them. A respected industry participant, Ms. Blaschke was instrumental in bringing Hidden Valley into the 21st century with technological advances and improvements while keeping it ‘old fashioned’ and quaint in nature.
Her vision is permeated by a focus on the guest and their specific needs and desires and creating a special relationship with each and every one of them. She continues to shape direction for the growing family business and wants to keep improving and hopefully inspire other RV Industry members in their endeavors.
After a university education in liberal arts at the State University of New York (SUNY at Purchase,) Blaschke decided to chase her dream of being self-employed and driven. Many different directions eventually threw her in the path of the outdoor hospitality industry and her current “hometown” of Von Ormy, Texas, a stone’s throw from San Antonio.
Blaschke is part of many Industry organizations including ARVC and TACO, and claims inspiration from many of today’s top players in the RV industry who have been instrumental in her development of a modern marketing strategy that is in synch with the guests in Hidden Valley’s particular niche.
Ms. Blaschke and her husband have two almost grown children, raised “in the middle of” the family RV business. Both Mark and they have been major contributors in the success of the Park.
