Known more as Partha, He plays a key role in its Ideations, applying his immense knowledge and experience to drive new product development ideas from strategy to commercial success.

Partha has over 25+ years of software development, project management, managing offshore delivery units and software engineering experience. He is a specialist in software estimation techniques. Partha has held several key positions at Infosys with responsibilities spanning from managing offshore delivery to being a core member of R&D Unit. As Head of the Microsoft Technology Center at Infosys he was instrumental in building the Dot Net University and Microsoft Alliance activities. Partha served as AVP at Infosys Technologies Ltd.,

He authored a book "Practical Software Estimation - Function Point Methods for In-Sourced and Out-Sourced Projects". Published by Addison Wesley, the Book was released in March, 2007. Among many innovations in software estimation methods developed by Partha, "The estimation model for Large, Strategic Deals" and the "Method and System for Determining Productivity of a Team Associated with Maintenance and Production Support of Software" have been applied for patent (Co-authored).
Partha is an ex-International Basketballer. He was honoured with Karnataka State Dasara Award for outstanding contribution to the game of Basketball.
