Dr. Brian Lee co-founded ICT in 1994 and serves as President. Previous to starting ICT, he worked at R&D Systems and SurModics. Dr. Lee earned a Ph.D. in 1992 from the University of Minnesota, Department of Veterinary PathoBiology.
Dr. Brian Lee co-founded ImmunoChemistry Technologies, LLC in 1994 as a custom immunoassay development laboratory, providing laboratory services and consultation to the life science research industry.

From their years of experience performing assay development and ELISA optimization services, Lee and his partners developed and commercialized a line of specialty ELISA buffers and protein stabilizers for assay development and IVD test manufacturing. Lee and his partners also developed and commercialized intracellular protease detection assays for life science research, including the patented FLIVO technology, which detects apoptosis (programmed cell death) in live animal models. Such technology may revolutionize medical treatment of cancer, eye disease, and other conditions.

As president, his responsibilities include the development of new products, managing contract ELISA development projects, and overseeing research & development and production activities. Previous to starting ICT, Lee developed ELISAs at R&D Systems and SurModics.

Lee earned a PhD in 1992 from the University of Minnesota, Department of Veterinary PathoBiology. Lee also holds a master's degree in biology from St. Cloud University and a B.S. in biology from St. John's University.
