James Cooke owns the company Your Home Property Management. It’s a commercial company offering high quality residential property management to leaseholders in London and Essex.

During his career James has had responsibility for managing housing and property services to 1,000s of homes. James has a high profile within the housing sector and is known for his commitment to customer service and his ability to deliver performance.

Your Home Property Management was formed in late 2012. James’ background is in social housing where he worked for some the biggest landlords in the UK. James’ last role was Property Services Director at Origin Housing.

Two factors gave him the impetus to set up a property management: a desire to work for himself and a frustration with the managing agents he experienced as a leaseholder.

James owns two leasehold flats and in both cases the property management companies he experienced were poor. They consistently failed to answer the phone, return messages, deliver vfm, and the service charge bills they sent seemed designed to confuse.

After 15 years experience in social housing property management developing great people skills and learning the technical and legislative context around bricks and mortar James decided to set up on his own.

Your Home Property Management now manage leasehold residential blocks in London and Essex. We oversee all the services including service charge collection, maintenance, cleaning, Health and Safety, and Company Secretarial.

In addition to residential block management Your Home Property Management also offer two other services: project management on the Right To Manage and on Freehold Purchase.
