She launched The Zimmerman Group, her marketing/consulting business, in 1989, growing it to 15 people, with a focus on education, healthcare, and manufacturing. Her specialty is planning how and when to use the right mix of media to change attitudes, minds, and behaviors.
In 2011, she launched JewishHolidaysInABox.com to help Jewish and interfaith families explore the richness of Jewish tradition in home celebrations that build positive, powerful memories. Her audience includes both those who need a helping hand to get started, to feel welcomed, to feel confident and families looking for new ways to celebrate. In all her games, kits, educational materials, and digital downloadables, she encourages finding ways to weave holiday celebrations into busy lives. The company’s tagline is “celebrations made simple.”
