U.S. SECURITY INC- San Francisco, CA 2007-Present Director of Loss Prevention-West
Responsible for managing 3rd party shoplift apprehension programs for multiple retailers in 5 Western States. Program involves managing risk for retailers while apprehending shoplifters, associate theft detection and operational compliance controls.
 Special emphasis in program development regarding shoplift detection for 7 retailers.
 Provide additional loss prevention support thru uniform guards and undercover agents.


ROSS STORES, INC., Pleasanton, CA 2003 – 2006
VP of Loss Prevention – Corporate Office
Responsible for loss prevention activities in over 800 stores, 4 distribution centers, corporate office, and 20 cross dock facilities. Managed a $10 million budget consisting of 4 Directors, 7 Regional Managers, and 55 District Loss Prevention Managers with a Logistics group within company-wide employment in excess of 35,000.
 Special emphasis in Worker’s Compensation and General Liability while opening 80+ new locations annually. Achieved $15 million in documented savings year over year from historical levels.
 Reduced retail shortage to 1.88 % of sales through program development and execution.
 Supervised inventory process for 800 stores. Managed costs to plan.
 Responsible for loss prevention integrity and partnership with all business units.

Director of Loss Prevention – Logistics (3 months)
Partnered with Senior VP of Logistics, overseeing security and Worker’s Compensation issues within 4 distribution centers located in Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Los Angeles/San Francisco, California. Developed an improved safety program and interfaced with 20 cross dock facilities managed by third party operators.
