The LUX Baby Bottle was founded by Lisa Blacknoll Hyche a working mom of three, who started the company because her own baby refused to accept a bottle. She designed her bottles to emulate a mother's nursing essence while fostering proper technique.

As a working mom of three, Lisa, Founder of LUX Baby Bottle knew she’d have to return to work after her third baby. Like all mom’s she wanted to give her baby the best, something as a substitute breastfeeding that he would easily accept. While preparing to go back to work after having her son Myles, she started shopping around the area for a baby bottle that would suit her baby's needs and also satisfy her desire for a more natural experience. While there were many bottles available, her baby absolutely wouldn’t accept any of them!

After getting serious with the fact that he might not take a bottle, she thought about running back and forth from work to feed. The worry and fear of her baby being hungry was stressful. So, right then and there, she decided to fix it! She started contacting manufacturers and began working with one in particular to develop something that took the best aspects of other bottles and combine them together.

She wanted Myles to have the same comfort of mom when he was breastfeeding. She studied her pumping sessions watching how my nipple is drawn in and out of the pump flange. With each pumping motion my nipple was longer. Clearly making a back and forth motion. Her initial line includes a modification to a sample bottle, where LUX now has an exclusive soft nipple base to simulate the breast, and a flexible nipple making it easier for babies to latch on. After returning to work Lisa realized a subsequent need to have bottles for older babies on the move. So the LUX 9-oz collection was born.

Lisa said the silicone LUX Baby Bottle simulates the breast, with a wider, softer, supple, skin-like nipple base that presses against baby's face while feeding, to simulate the feeling of breastfeeding. The bottle's squeezable, breast-like design supports baby's natural mouth position and sucking rhythm for the right flow, perfectly emulating a natural latch for the milk release that baby wants. LUX stands for the luxurious feeling that Lisa wanted for her own babies, now anyone can offer the same nurturing, comfortable, and lavish breast-like option in a variety of colors to their own little ones. We sincerely hope your #luxbaby enjoys our products!
