Professor Miodrag "Mickey" Micic is a President and CEO and a co-founder of the Labratfinder LLC. Recently he had a position of Chief Marketing Officer with MP Biomedicals and prior to that position, he was the Vice President of Research and Development, from 2004 to 2013. In addition to serving as a President/CEO of Labratfinder LLC, Professor Micic continues his role as Professor and Department Chair of Engineering Design Technology and Plastics Manufacturing Technology at Cerritos College in Norwalk, CA.

As an established consultant in scientific instrumentation, additive manufacturing and advanced plastics material, professor Micic brings his vast knowledge, contacts and experience of the Life Sciences industries to Labratfinder LLC. He is an author and inventor with issued US patents. He currently has over 70 publications in leading scientific journals totaling over 2,000 citations, is an editor of the reference book M.Micic,(Ed)", "Sample Preparation Techniques for Soil, Plant and Animals Samples", Springer, NY 2015, contributor to the reference work "Wiley's Encyclopedia of Biomedical Devices and Instrumentation", and a guest editor of Elsevier's “Colloids and Surfaces B: Biointerfaces” journal, a special issue on supramolecular chemistry at interfaces.

Prior to his time at MP Biomedicals, Mickey was a Senior Scientist in the Metrology Division at Veeco Instruments Inc in Santa Barbara, CA, and was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, a US DOE facility in Richland, WA. He also had an appointment of visiting research scientist at the BioMEMS group, at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at University of California - Irvine.

Professor Micic holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Miami in Florida accompanied by a M.T.M. from Washington State University in Washington, as well as Sc.D., M.Sc., and BS degrees from University of Belgrade in Serbia. In addition, Professor Micic is a certified SOLIDWORKS professional and accredited SOLIDWORKS Educator. He is also an FAA certified commercial multiengine pilot, certified flight instructor, and PADI Master scuba diver.
