For years Dr. Hitzig spent refining the ACell plus PRP injection therapy to encourage new hair regrowth. Dr. Hitzig had also spent 2 plus years researching in both Europe and the United States.

With over 35 years of experience performing hair replacement surgery Dr. Hitzig has performed over 30,000 hair restoration procedures.
Dr. Hitzig is currently the Medical Director for the Board of Directors of the American Hair Loss Council and has authored cover articles on "Scalp Camouflage after Hair Restoration Surgery" and "Linear Grafting" for the council newsletter. His consumer book on hair loss titled, "Help & Hope for Hair Loss", published by Avon Books, has been released internationally.
Both an innovator and inventor, he has pioneered the use of Infrared Coagulation in hair transplant surgery and recently patented “Hitzig Linear Punch.” In 1998 Dr. Hitzig’s patent for the Hitzig Linear Punch was approved and is now being commercially manufactured and sold to surgeons around the world.
