Renee Ralls started her career in mortgage lending as a Customer Service Representative for Mellon Bank in 1979. She was quickly promoted to Loan Officer and then again to Branch Manager. In 1983 she made a change and went to work for Western Security Bank taking on a new roll as Commercial Loan Officer, not only did she originate commercial loans she also was on the Special Assets team, where she had to collect delinquent loans assigned to her.

In 1993 she decided to start her own business, Allstarr Mortgage. As a Mortgage Broker she felt she could successfully meet the financial needs of her clients.
