“ I now feel it is my chance to make a change for us curvy ladies and embrace our natural beauty.
”
have been working behind the camera as a trained makeup artist for some time. However, I have always wanted to be a model. After always thinking I didn’t have a model body I didn’t realise it would ever be possible. I have watched the fashion industry change over the years, slowly but surely I have seen it coming round to the fact that “curves sell” I now feel it is my chance to make a change for us curvy ladies and embrace our natural beauty.
I am a fun loving, creative down to earth person who would like to create beautiful images with the healthy shape I have naturally. I would like to pursue a career in the modelling industry promoting my curvy physique. I have previously been in the semi-finals for Colleens Real Women and taken part in Macmillan Oxford Fashion Week. I enjoy working with new designers, charities and the fabulous Campaign Models of Diversity which I am now proud to be part of as one of their Vocal Advocates for plus size. In the future as well as promoting plus size in our high street brands, I would love to have the privilege to work with some of our well established and respected designers. If I could I would love to model for my Idols Vivienne Westwood and Jean Paul Gaultier and the fabulous late Alexander McQueen.
Comments have been made about plus size from well-established designers. Their opinions may or may not be valid. Real people in the real world think they are not. As one of these people I am not disheartened, quite the opposite I am determined to prove we have we have a crucial role in today’s fashion industry.
It is now my passion to make the fashion world appreciate that beauty comes in a all shapes, sizes, races and abilities.
