An experienced MD, consultant and guest speaker specialising in creative business planning, growth strategy and marketing, and with an informed knowledge of high growth sectors.

Having run her own businesses for the last ten years, Rachel has acquired an informed knowledge of business development, innovation and strategy. Her experience during this time fuelled a passion for enterprise and after spending a significant part of her career in the creative sector, she moved into consultancy, seeking to combine traditional principles with cutting edge strategy.

Most recently, Rachel was asked to head up the Equinox group of digital businesses which includes NonExecutiveDirectors.com and NYC based OutsideDirectors.net. The organisation is soon to launch a very exciting new online business in the UK, with a US launch scheduled for summer 2014.

Prior to consultancy work, Rachel was the managing director of an entertainment company. She achieved all of her goals within the creative sector, delivering projects for the BBC, Revolution Films, Jay Z, Daniel Merriweather, Rihanna and Naomi Campbell, and experiencing the delights of entrepreneurialism whilst learning many valuable lessons.

Rachel’s areas of expertise include Business Start-Ups (idea creation and development, planning and strategy), Business Planning and Growth Strategy, Leadership and Management, Marketing Strategy, Marketing Tactical Planning and Innovation Management. Rachel has recently begun delivering guest lectures at Lancaster University focusing on entrepreneurialism, innovation and marketing.
