Mike Hartman
Executive Director
“ Mike Hartman has more than 30 years of corporate experience that transfers well to his entrepreneurial efforts. As Executive Director of NICA, his sales and general management background provide a good foundation for this association. ”
Mike Hartman invested 30+ years in the corporate environment, gaining experience in sales, operations and many levels of management, eventually leading to the position of General Manager for a multi-million dollar branch office.
After many occurrences of buy-outs, downsizings, and mergers, his entrepreneurial spirit took over. Not wanting just a job, but a satisfying career through business ownership, he sought an industry that would fulfill his passion to help others and discovered a new and growing industry – a personal property inventory service. He and his wife, Cindy, created Hartman Inventory LLC in 2004. After years of learning the industry and creating a professional process, he realized it was time to help others find success as asset inventory professionals.
Thus, he founded Nationwide Inventory Professionals LLC, a home inventory Business Package and License Agreement. This unique franchise-like business model provides what is necessary for others to start their own independent inventory service, including a website, newsletter, marketing materials, national certification, and mentoring/coaching conversations to provide exactly what each needs, at a specific time, to help them grow their business. The stress, lost revenues, and trial-and-error that he endured when starting his service company is greatly reduced for the Licensees through the knowledge and experience he has today.
Seeing the need for organized asset inventory-focused certification and continuing education, his most recent efforts exhibit the resulting ownership of National Inventory Certification Association™ (NICA), for which he serves as Executive Director.
Mike has also exhibited his leadership through managing and coaching a variety of youth sports programs, serving on a board for a non-profit organization, and was instrumental for record-breaking fundraising initiatives.
