Joseph Federico, Vice President of New Jersey Micro Electronic Testing (NJMET), has taken the company into the 21st century. With offices in China, England and throughout the United States, NJMET is a leading provider of counterfeit testing for electronic components and other products.
Joseph Federico has spent 30 years with Clifton, NJ based NJMET. Joe started at the company as a Test Engineer and rose through the ranks by instituting effective programs against counterfeit electronic components. Currently Joseph is Vice President and Director of Operations. Among the programs he manages is the Mission Imposter® program which is designed to spot counterfeit electronic components. He has received speaking invitations from corporations and government agencies in China, Russia and Israel. He has written several articles on the subject; most recently he wrote "Detecting Counterfeit Electronic Components Using Blacktop Marking Tests", published on ezine.com.
As part of his role at NJMET, Joseph Federico manages the company’s charitable efforts. Recent efforts include sponsoring teams in the March of Dimes Walk 2011 and the 2011 National Multiple Sclerosis Walk and pledging a portion of NJMET’s profits to the American Red Cross each year.
Joseph Federico matriculated at the P. Muscarelle Center of Fairleigh Dickinson University, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. Additionally, Joseph Federico holds an Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, which he earned from the Metropolitan Technical Institute, located in the state of New Jersey.
Joseph Federico lectures at the P. Muscarelle Center at the FDU on the global counterfeit electronic components epidemic and provides legal assistance as an expert witness consultant.
