Sondra Newman started NewComm Advisors in 2007, to serve the communications needs of early- to mid-stage biotechnology and medical device companies. She began a career in investor relations and corporate communications in 2000, successfully directing these functions for Boston-based companies AltaRex, Inc., Dyax Corp. and NitroMed. Her internal and agency experience highlight a broad and flexible skillset, including strategic communications and investor relations planning, crisis communications, press release and script writing, investor and media outreach, product communications, development of marketing collateral, social media strategies and website content. Sondra leads NewComm Advisors' in working with clients to effectively develop and communicate the right message to the right audience at the right time.
