Joe’s favorite place on earth is 7.5 acres of taiga forest outside Fairbanks, Alaska where he and his wife lived in an off-grid yurt for four years while building their dream cabin. He has a passion for good food, and strongly believes that fresh food from local sources is the best. An avid gardener and chef, Joe has cooked and catered around the Fairbanks scene for over eight years. He enjoys home brewing, canning, smoking the salmon his wife catches, and traveling. Joe has driven all or half of the Alaska Highway over twenty times.
