 Dr. Margo Ruark is President and founder of Peace Centers International. She is active in the greater Chicago peace community as a choreographer. Margo is an ordained minister and has a PhD in nonprofit management.

Dr. Margo Ruark is President and founder of Peace Centers International. She is active in the greater Chicago peace community with her own brand of dance theater, that is grounded in peace activism. Margo is an ordained minister, author, columnist, scholar and teacher has served as ministerial seminary faculty over the years. She leads group meditation for peace in the Chicago area.

Margo holds an MBA from DePaul University, Chicago, an MA in Dance from UW-Madison, and a Graduate Degree in Esthetics from the University of Uppsala, Sweden. In 2014, she received a PhD in Nonprofit Management from Wilmington National University (online). Having taught dance and theater for many years, she was a guest artist in Copenhagen with one of Nobel Prize winner Dario Fo's protégées.

She is the mother of two brilliant children and the author of several spiritual books and translations. Her most recent book Waves of Peace: Collective Meditation in Worldwide Practice (2015) has received positive reviews from leaders in the meditation, yoga, and spiritual communities.

She is available to speak to organizations about collective intelligence, social-emotional intelligence, positive thinking, improvisation, meditation, dance, yoga dance, creative movement, creativity, authentic movement and related topics.
