While working as an IT consultant for multi-national companies for ten years, Philip Brown started Penny Press to publish information on the history of the universe. He now works solely for the company. His main role is to design and develop websites and ebooks, and code the software which creates them.

He is an expert in PHP, MySQL, Visual Basic (both VB.net and VBA) and is competent is a range of other software. He also edits the content of the history of the universe website (http://historyoftheuniverse.com) and Time Crystal (http://timecrystal.co.uk).

He also supervises product design and development, marketing, PR and finance within the company.
