Keith was born and raised in Lehigh Acres, FL. In 1991, Keith graduated with an Economics Degree from Florida State University. He joined his father's business, Larue Pest Management, Inc. in 1992 as a second-generation pest control operator.

He's obtained Florida Certified Operators License in all four categories: Pest Control. Lawn Care, Termite Control, and Fumigation. In 1998, Keith also graduated from the University of Florida’s Extension Service Fast Trac II Program.

Keith is a member of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He spent four years on the Board of Directors for Florida Pest Management Association, served on the Florida Green Industries task force for Florida Pest Management Association, and was President of the Florida Pest Management Association in 2015.
